Jordan- Summer conditions forecast to continue till Thursday

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept.5 (Petra) -- A slight drop in mercury levels is expected Tuesday and over the next two days, but summer conditions will continue to prevail in most areas with daytime temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern regions, while jumping to 39 in the Gulf of Aqaba According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily update, mercury levels will cool down at night standing at 22 degrees in much parts of the country, except in Aqaba where they will slide to 28 .

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast till Thursday with north westerly light to moderate winds, the JMD added.
