VW, China JVs, SAIC to recall around 1.8 mln vehicles
(MENAFN) Volkswagen AG, Chinese joint venture FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC Volkswagen announced they will recall 1,818,340 vehicles.
According to China"s quality watchdog, the recall will be due to a fuel pump issue, and it will be effective starting from December 25.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) announced the recall by an online statement, and it was not clear whether the recall will be global or not.
