(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 4: An Asian woman was miraculously saved by the medical crew of Hussein Makki Juma Specialist Surgery Center after she attempted to commit suicide on Friday, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to informed sources from Ministry of Health, the Public Relations Department of the center received a report from one of the wards that an Asian woman had attempted to commit suicide using a sharp object.
Doctors and nurses immediately rushed to her and exerted efforts to stabilize her situation. She had sustained serious injuries on her neck and she was taken to the Intensive Care Unit where she underwent an urgent surgery. Securitymen were called in and they filed a case against her. The patient will undergo an extended investigation immediately after her recovery. The center management indicated that this incident can be regarded as the first of its kind witnessed in the corridors of the center.
