Makkah, Dhu-Al-Hijjah 08, 1438 H., August 30, 2017, SPA -- Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed, chairman of the Islamic Call Committee for Africa, today said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his crown prince, is providing all necessary assistance to Islam and Muslims all over the world, without exception, only observing the honor and dignity of the religion.
This came during his meeting in Makkah with the VIP's of the King's program for Hajj and Umrah, welcoming them in their second country, the cradle of the Islamic mission and wishing them an acceptable Hajj.
He said Saudi Arabia is always seeking to reach unity of ranks and solidarity of Muslims, citing choosing its guests from all over the world, rather than a particular region or country.
Since 26 years of work, the Islamic Call committee for Africa was accustomed to choose the Kingdom's guests through systematic approach from all African countries, he explained.
Meanwhile, it has achieved as much as 100 activities, including contests, tournaments, forums, medical camps and others, benefiting more than 1.5 million, he added.
Had any Islamic country was subject to some problems that might derail pilgrims from smooth travel to the sacred places in the Kingdom, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques usually interferes to open a wide window for them to achieve their dream of pilgrimage, Dr. Bandar said citing the case of Qatari and Yemeni pilgrims and others.
