(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Edward Black claimed top honours in the fourth race of the Muscat Road Runners (MRR) Zawawi Colas Summer Series held recently.
More than 70 participants race competed in undulating 5km off-road course in Al Amerat. Black won the race in a time of 20min:21sec while Hamed al Mahrooqi was second with a time of 20:51. Jerome Duboe claimed the third spot in 21:00.
Birgit Schulz was the best woman runner and finished seventh overall in a time of 23:11.
The winner of the junior 3km race was James in a time of 14:51 with Lucy was second in 16:30 and Finlay came third in 17:15.
The next race will be held on September 13.

Men's veteran: 1 Saleh al Wahaibi 23:43, 2 Mike Hoffman 23:50, 3 Dave Salt 24:12. Men's super-veteran: 1 Rob Borjal 34:24.
