(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 30 (Petra)--Prime Minister Hani Al Mulki has decided to provide JD3,000 to each charitable society that provides attention and care to elderly people.
The measure, taken on the occasion of the Eid Al Adha, comes in recognition of the humanitarian role shouldered by these societies.
It also comes in implementation of the Royal directives that always affirm the importance of providing attention and care to this segment of the society as well as offering all forms of support and assistance to charitable societies that face financial challenges to enable them to continue their humanitarian role towards the elderly people.
