Oman- Pakistani ambassador holds talks with SalamAir CEO


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H E Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan visited headquarters of SalamAir on August 24 and met with Capt Mohammed Ahmed, newly appointed CEO of SalamAir. On the occasion, promoting and facilitating travel between both countries was discussed.

The ambassador praised the rising bilateral cooperation in the air services sector and welcomed the addition of SalamAir to the spectrum of airline operators between the Sultanate of Oman and Pakistan.

The ambassador presented the latest edition of embassy's 'Newsletter' and outlined outreach initiatives to connect with Pakistani community across the sultanate as well as the on-going celebrations of the 70th anniversary of independence of Pakistan.
The ambassador extended an invitation to CEO SalamAir to participate in the 'Lecture & Internships Circuit' being organised via www.ypfo.pk, an online platform ie, 'Young Pakistan Forum Oman', launched by embassy on August 14 in Oman to mark the 70th anniversary of independence of Pakistan.

CEO SalamAir appreciated the outreach initiatives and observed that meeting with the ambassador was his first interaction in Oman upon taking office a week earlier. He appreciated his recent visit to Karachi in connection with SalamAir operations and expressed desire to facilitate travelers with excellent service and competitive fares.

SalamAir commenced operations to Pakistan on May 21, 2017 and currently operates six flights per week.
