President Poroshenko: Education priority for Ukraine and key to success
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Petro Poroshenko says that the opening of new schools is an important tradition, which shows that education is a priority for Ukraine and its citizens.
President Poroshenko stated this during an opening ceremony of a new school in the village of Navariya, Lviv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
'Some people think: the opening of a school is an absolutely ordinary event. No, this is the demonstration of Ukraine's priorities. What is a priority for Ukraine? It is education because it is the key to success of Ukraine and Ukrainians," Poroshenko stressed.
He noted that the opening of schools is a very good and important tradition, and recalled that in the 17th century the Ukrainian nation was the most literate in Europe.
Poroshenko also stressed that children in Ukrainian villages must have the access to qualitative education.
