Saudi Arabia denounces attack on Kabul mosque


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has denounced Friday€™s attack on a Shiite mosque in capital Kabul that killed and wounded dozens.

The Saudi foreign ministry in a statement strongly condemned the attack on the Imam Zaman mosque.

The kingdom said it shared the catastrophic grief with the government and the people of Afghanistan and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Afghanistan in the fight against militancy.

More than 20 people were killed and scores of others injured in the group suicide attack on the Imam Zaman Mosque in Kabul last Friday. Daesh group has claimed credit for the attack.
