(MENAFN) On Sunday, an eight year old Palestinian girl was hit by an Israeli settler in the West Bank and she was buried.
In Nablus, Aseel Abu Oun was killed by a settler who drove his car near where she lived in the Foroush Beit Dajan village in the Nablus district.
According to the Israeli daily newspaper, Haaretz, the police detained the driver of the vehicle for questioning.
Members of her family said the announcement of a police investigation was simply an attempt by the Israeli government to quell public anger.
