Jordanian Announced Missing in Mecca Pilgrimage

AMMAN —AlGhad— The official Jordanian pilgrimage envoy to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, announced the disappearance of one Jordanian pilgrim, Mohammad Abdul Qader Zyout, after arriving at the hotel, and leaving it again later that afternoon, Thursday, the 24th of August, and was not seen since.

The Jordanian Awqaf Ministry officials in mecca have been to every hospital, medical centre, and police station looking for Zyout, the envoy confirmed.

Saudi authorities have been informed, according to the official statements of the Ministry.

Meanwhile, every pilgrim travelling under the Ministry's umbrella carry identification cards stating their names and places of residence at all times.

Efforts are still underway to find the missing pilgrim.
