Germany reaches deal with Egypt over migrants flow


(MENAFN) Germany said it reached an agreement with Egypt to handle the flow of migrants from Arab countries.

Million refugees arrived in Germany during the past two years, from Syria and Iraq mainly, which opened deep rifts in Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative party.

As Merkel and the European Union had sealed migrants deal with Turkey to stem the flow from Middle East, and her spokesman said that Egypt deal would"fight illegal immigration and the criminal smuggling of people".

And he told news conference in Berlin: "Under this agreement, there are a number of measures for political and economic support so that a better climate and better living conditions can be achieved for refugees in Egypt."
