(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 28 (Petra)-- Three Gendarmerie personnel were injured after midnight, while performing their duty in Russeifa district in Zarqa Governorate.
The three were transferred to receive treatment and were listed in fair condition.
The incident took place, during an operation carried out by a force from the Gendarmerie to deal with riots erupted in the district, where the force came under fire.
The calm was restored in the area after the deployment of a force from the Gendarmerie and the Public Security Department, a security source said.
