A woman escaped serious harm after being the victim of a suspected sleeping gas attack in Tsim Sha Tsui, in Hong Kong's Kowloon district, last Thursday.
At 10pm, the woman, who is a salesperson in a cosmetic shop, came out of a bank on Cameron Road and was heading to Tsim Tsa Shui MTR station when a man approached her, the Oriental Daily reported.

The man tapped on her left shoulder and said "excuse me, beauty," in Mandarin. As she was on the phone, she ignored him. When he tapped her again and asked her to put her phone down, she refused and told him that she was in a hurry.
On her ride home, however, she felt dizzy and tired and had difficulty breathing. She recalled that she was very frightened but can hardly remember arriving home. When she awoke on Friday, she felt unwell and went to hospital for a check-up.
The woman, who lost no valuables in the ordeal, later in a Facebook in which she urged other women traveling home at night to be extra-cautious.
Police in Tsim Sha Tsui contacted the woman for more information.
