Vietnam's foreign direct investment grow to 45%


(MENAFN) Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in Vietnam had reached around USD23.4bln during the first eight months of the year, higher by 45.1% against the same period last year.

According to the foreign investment agency in the country, the processing and manufacturing sector received the largest FDI, with around USD11.7bln that accounts for 50% of the total capital registered.

However, capital disbursement reached USD10.3bln, up by 5.1% year-on-year, the Ministry of Planning and Investment said.
