Around 3.8 millions fled their homes in DR Congo


(MENAFN) UN officials confirmed that number of displaced people in Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) because of the conflict is nearly doubled during the past six months to reach 3.8 million.

An official at the UN's refugee agency (UNHCR) said that needed food and clothing for the 1.4 million in the volatile Kasai region had increased.

And he told AFP that protection was required for them, especially for children who are sleeping in conditions that are difficult to imagine.
