(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Heat expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius will scorch southern Morocco on Saturday, according to the Directorate of National Meteorology (DMN).
Temperatures will range from 40 to 45 degrees Celsius in the southern provinces, while temperatures between 36 and 41 degrees are forecast in the interior of the plains, the extreme southeast, Saiss and Souss.
Several southern provinces and eastern regions will see temperatures between 32 and 37 degrees. Temperatures between 24 and 30 degrees are forecast for the mountain tops and near the coasts.
Temperatures will range from 26 and 31 degrees on the extreme southeast, the interior of the Souss, the interior plains, and the south-eastern provinces. The Atlantic plains, west-southern areas, and the Mediterranean coast will see temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees. Temperatures between 18 and 23 degrees are forecast for the western areas and the Atlantic coasts.
The sea will be slightly agitated on the Mediterranean and Tangier, while it will be agitated on the Atlantic coasts.
