(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 26 (Petra)--Director General of Jordan Free and Development Zones Group Ahmad Halayqah stressed the importance of reopening the Turaibil border crossing between Jordan and Iraq for investors in free zones, whose exports have been affected by the closure of the crossing.
He said in a statement on Saturday that the Iraqi market is one of the main gates for free zone investors' exports , adding that any delay in reopening the crossing will reflect negatively on the industrial, trade and transport sectors.
Halayqah added that the free zone at Queen Alia International Airport is a quantum leap in developing free zones in Jordan, noting that it provides advanced services to businessmen.
