Dust storm in parts of UAE weekend weather to remain hot, humid

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles due to a dust storm caused by winds in various areas of the country.

In a statement on Thursday, NMCS said that the weather today will be hot in general, very hot over some internal areas, partly cloudy and hazy at times, adding that some clouds will form over some eastern and southern areas which may include some convective clouds southwards.

"Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times causing blowing dust over some exposed areas. The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over some coastal areas, especially westward," the statement added.

The statement said that on Friday and Saturday, the weather is likely to remain similar, noting that seas will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
