NHTTI introduces five Diploma Courses


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (NHTTI) has introduced five diploma courses today at a ceremony held at Hotel Abakash in the city today, January 16, 2017. Newly introduced courses are : Two years Diploma in Hotel Management, one year Diploma in Tourism Management, Professional Chef Course, Diploma in Culinary Arts and Catering Management and Diploma in Bakery.

Md. Mizanur Rahman, Director Commercial and Director Planning, Bangladesh Parjaton Corporation (BPC) were present on the occasion as the chief guest and special guest respectively. The function was also addressed by Principal Habibur Rahman, former Chairman of BPC and Founder of NHTTI, Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor among others.

NHTTI is the only institute in the sector which is managed by the Bangladesh government. Since its inception in 1974 the institute has helped develop approximately 38,000 skilled manpower in the tourism sector.
