Saudi Arabia sets up budget airline Flyadeal
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has launched its new affiliate low-cost airline Flyadeal amid an event at the King Abzulaziz Intl Airport in Jeddah.
Accordingly, the airline will operate its first local flight on Sep 23 to coincide with the Kingdom's national day.
In addition, the venture is part of the Saudia Group's SV2020 Transformation Strategy that will enhance the group's subsidiaries into world-class organizations by 2020.
The airline will cater to local travelers, Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and the growing number of tourists to KSA, as well as other groups.
