(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 25 (Petra) -- The load on the national grid on Friday reached 2,590 megawatts (MW), up 210MW compared with 2380MW last Friday, according to the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).
NEPCO Production Planning Director Amin Zaghal blamed soaring temperatures up to 38 degrees Celsius for the extra 8 percent load on the national grid.
