Qatar bags seven medals in Oman
The delegation of the Qatari table tennis team returned to Doha on Tuesday after participating in the 2017 Arab Table Tennis Cup which concluded in Muscat, Oman on Sunday.
Qatar claimed seven medals in total including (one gold medal, four silver medals and two bronze medals).
Qatar's Fahad Al Moghni and Ahmad Mothana claimed the silver medal of doubles event after beating Egypt's Mohammad Al Beyally and Ahmad Saleh in the semifinals. The tournament featured the participation of 180 players from 14 countries including Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Comoros Island, Somalia, Mauritania, Djibouti, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Yemen and hosts Oman.
The state of Qatar was represented by Ahmad Mothana, Fahad Al Moghni, Mohammad Abdulwahab, Nawaf Al Malki, Yousef Hussain, Ali ba Ali, Khalid Al Yafai, Ayam Magdi, Maha Flamerzi, Kholoud Hussain, Maha Ali, Al Anoud Al Saffar, Shouq Saad, Mayam Ali Abdulaziz and Shahd Al Makki.
