The Qatar Chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI Qatar) organised a theme seminar on, 'Role of Engineers in the Development of Nation on August 18 at Hotel Radisson Blu.
Honorary Secretary Er. Dipak Dahake outlined the Qatar Chapter's professional activities and talked about corporate/non-corporate membership classes of the institution. Currently, he said, Qatar Chapter is offering free life membership to corporate members and free annual membership to the graduate engineers.
Er. Dilip Dharurkar, who is heading NAC group of Industries as Managing Director, was guest speaker. In his thought provoking presentation, he shared his views on the theme and shared a lot of ideas for engineers which can be practically implemented. As many as 80 participants which mainly include- engineers, designers, consultants, managers and administrators attended the event. He appealed all participants to focus on small things initially and come forward to provide economic engineering solutions for the betterment of society.
Honorary Chairman Er. Aniruddha Kulkarni announced upcoming mega event - 50th Engineers Day to be held on September 22 at Radisson Blu. He requested all members to contribute in the activities of Qatar Chapter with sponsorship support. Treasurer Er. Venumadhav Dukkipati, expressed gratitude to the member engineers & sponsors for supporting IEI Qatar Chapter to fulfil its objectives.
