Xolisa Dhlamini


(MENAFN- The Conversation) I spent 2 years as the Head of the African network of the United Nations - Supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). I was responsible for coordinating support and outreach activities for PRI in Africa and represented PRI on the CRISA committee, The Sustainable Returns for Pensions and Society steering committee and the ASISA RI Standing committee. Prior to this I spent over 8 years in the pension fund industry as an analyst and asset consultant to South African pension funds and other institutional investors.

I am a Chartered Development Finance Analyst (CDFA) of the Institute of Development Finance (CIDEF). My research interest is in investment management practices by institutional investors in developing and developed countries. I have lectured SRI courses on the PGDIp in Management and MCom in Development Finance at the UCT Graduate School of Business. I am also an active speaker at pension and investment conferences across Africa.
