Consumer confidence index in Turkey down this month


(MENAFN) Turkish Statistical Institute revealed that the country"s consumer confidence index have recorded a small fall month-on-month in August.

Moreover, data showed that the index was declined by 0.3% to reach 71.1 in the cited month compared with from 71.3 tailed in July.

"This increase shows the number of consumers expecting a better, general economic situation in the next 12 months has increased compared to the previous month," the report showed.
