Iran-Europe trade increases by 94%


(MENAFN) The European Union's statistics agency Eurostat revealed that trade done amid Iran and Europe has surged by about 94% during the first 6 months of the year compared with H1 a year earlier.

Furthermore, data showed that Iran-Europe trade came to 9.9 billion euros in the January-June period of 2017 from 5.1 billion euros in the same time of 2016.

Meanwhile, Eurostat added the upward trend of Europe's imports of Iranian crude oil was considered a main factor in increasing the figure.
