(MENAFN) Dubai-based DP World proclaimed an USD2.29bn for the Jan-June period of this year, an increase of 9.6 percent on reported and 3 percent on like-for-like basis.
In addition, the revenue growth was helped by the strong volume increase amid all three DP World regions, while there was a 4.2 percent increase in total containerized revenue.
Moreover, profit for the period attributable to owners of the firm was USD606mn, a 15.8 percent increase before disclosed items on a like-for-like basis.
Meanwhile, cash from operating activities reached USD1.009bn, up from USD905mn in H1, 2016.
