Belarusian National Bank to cut key rate by 0.5%


(MENAFN) The Belarusian central bank had decided to cut the refinancing rate from 12% to 11.5% per annum by September 13, 2017.

The country's National Bank said that interest rates on standing and bilateral transactions are designed to maintain the current liquidity of banks will be reduced from 14% to 13%.

However, it attributed the reduction in rates with the fall in actual inflation rate, and the annual rate is expected to be within 7%, since it is the seventh cut since the start of the year.
