Exports of medical supplies in Egypt fall by USD6mn in H1


(MENAFN) Exports of medical supplies dropped to USD6mn in the Jan-June period of the year, posting exports worth USD41.9mn, down from USD48mn in the same period of 2016.

Additionally, Pharmaplast topped the list of exporters in the cited period with exports of USD19.7mn, while Hidelina Co. for Advanced Medical Industries reached USD8.9mn, trailed by Fine with USD2.6mn.

Meanwhile, Ultra came in fourth place with exports of USD1.6mn, followed by Ameco Medical Industries in fifth place with export value USD1.4mn.

Furthermore, the Egyptian Swiss Co. for Specialized Industries marked exports of USD651.000, whereas Medica Mideast came in ninth place with USD370.000.
