Pakistan- PSF stages protest demonstration against traffic police in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, 23 August: Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration against a traffic police who shot injured a student couple of days earlier.
The protesters were carrying placards in which anti traffic police slogans were registered. A large number of students were participated in the protest which held outside the Peshawar Press Club.
Addressing the protesting students, PSF President Waqas Khan said that student Asfandyar was on his way at Warsak road to submit his documents for exams when a traffic police opened firing on him. He got injured in the firing, he said.
The protesters demanded of the government to arrest Mazhar for taking law into hand. They also accused that traffic personnel was treating his family not to pursue the case.
