UAE declares Eid Al Adha holidays


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) UAE has declared Eid Al Adha holidays for the public sector, a day after the Zul Hijjah moon was sighted.

The Federal Authority for Human Resources announced that Eid Al Adha holiday in the ministries and federal bodies of the UAE government is scheduled to start from next Thursday, August 31, 2017, with the resumption of official work on Monday, September 4.

holidays for the private sector have not been announced.

The Federal Authority of Human Resources greeted President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the people of the UAE and Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion.
