(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- Jordanian King Abdullah II met late Tuesday with senior advisor to the US president Jared Kushner and other senior US officials to discuss strategic partnership and cooperation between the two sides.
According to Petra News Agency on Wednesday, the meeting held in the capital Amman also included executive vice president and Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt and Deputy National Securityآ Advisor for Strategy to theآ presidentآ Dina Powell.آ The meeting also focused on pushing forward the Palestinian-Israeli peace process and resume serious negotiations between the two sides in the light of the two-state solution, it added.
During the talks, King Abdullah stressed on the important role of President Donald Trump in boosting efforts to reach a Palestinian-Israeli agreement. (end) mjb.agآ
