Hotels revenues in Mideast fall by 18.4pct in July


(MENAFN) Hotels in the Mideast posted negative results amid July this year, whereas hotels in Africa posted increase across the three key performance metrics.

Moreover, KSA posted a weak performance for July with RevPAR dropping 35.2 percent to USD79.9.

Additionally, the kingdom's performance falls trailed a weak first half of the year, and July year-to-date RevRAP is down 15.1 percent.

Meanwhile, Bahrain's hotel industry recorded a similar performance for July, with RevRAP dropping 12.4 percent to USD84.3 and ADR slipping 11.5 percent.
