Lebanon and Iraq discuss fighting terrorism
BEIRUT, 22nd August, 2017 (WAM) -- Talks on boosting relations between Lebanon and Iraq across all levels, were discussed between the President of Lebanon, Michel Aoun, and the Iraqi Vice President, Ayad Alawi, on Tuesday.
According to Lebanon's National News Agency, President Aoun said that they will combat terrorism, and the Vice President confirmed Iraq's solidarity with Lebanon in its fight against terrorism. Alawi also relayed his country's intention to alleviate obstacles that hinder the work of Lebanese businesspeople in Iraq.
