(MENAFN) Iran posted that it has sold 2 million barrels of crude oil generated from South Pars Oilfield to East Asian nations in 4 cargos.
The shipment was made probable after the dispatch by National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) of a floating output, storage as well as offloading (FPSO) unit over the level.
Meanwhile, oil minister added that South Pars is not only the biggest gas field in the universe, but it further contains layers which have not been recovered since the 11th government assumed office 4 years ago.
