Intellectual property rights' trade deficit in S. Korea down in H1


(MENAFN) South Korean central bank revealed that the country"s deficit in the trade of intellectual property rights has decreased during the January-June period of the year due to the low shortfalls from patent use contracts.

The Bank of Korea also added that South Korea recorded USD600 million trade deficit in intellectual property rights in H1, compared with USD950 million in the preceding year.

The country has shipped a total of USD5.53 billion and it bought USD6.13 billion in intellectual property rights.
