(MENAFN) Sydney Airport's profits for H1 had increased 4.4% to USD166.6mln due to a rise in international passengers' numbers, while passengers chose cheaper transport methods to get to and from the airport.
The airport recorded 21 million passengers who went through the airport during the six months period, higher from 20.2 million posted a year earlier, and the international fliers' numbers recorded 7.7%.
However, the significant increase in the number of international passengers was coupled with overall growth, also improvements and capital investments helped to increase revenue 7.9% to USD714.2mln.
