Nintex Promotes Ryan Duguid to Senior Vice President Technology Strategy

BELLEVUE, Wash., Aug. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nintex, the recognized global leader in workflow and content automation (WCA), announced today the company has promoted Ryan Duguid to Senior Vice President Technology Strategy, a newly created executive position. In his expanded role, Duguid will leverage his 20-plus years of global IT experience to define the technology and product strategy across the Nintex R & D organization. He will continue to serve as an external spokesperson at industry and partner events and engaging with industry influencers including press and analysts.

As Senior Vice President of Technology Strategy at Nintex, Ryan Duguid is responsible for defining the technology and product strategy across the company's R & D organization.

Duguid joined Nintex in 2012 and most recently served as the company's Vice President of Product where he led a global team of software engineers and product managers responsible for conceptualizing and launching Nintex Workflow Cloud™, a cloud-first workflow platform that was introduced in late 2016. Prior to that, Duguid served as Nintex Vice President of Product Management.

Before Nintex, Duguid spent six years at Microsoft in key senior product management positions within the Microsoft Office Division. He was instrumental in bringing SharePoint 2010 to market, and developed strategic programs to drive SharePoint adoption and expand SharePoint's capabilities in customer engagement, content management, compliance and analytics. During his career, Duguid also worked in the IT industry throughout New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. He founded a successful web development company, connected the island nation of Niue to the Internet, and helped establish New York and London offices for a New Zealand software firm.

Duguid holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.
