Qatar Airways to increase Flights to Dhaka


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) DOHA : Qatar Airways is to increase flights to Dhaka from two to three flights per day and to Colombo from four to five flights per day, effective September 1.

The additional non-stop, daily services to and from Dhaka and Colombo will each be serviced by Qatar Airways Airbus A320 aircraft, adding more than 1,000 seats to the current weekly capacity to and from both exciting destinations.

The Qatar Airways Airbus A320 features 12 Business Class seats and 132 seats in Economy Class.

Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive, Qatar Airways said, 'The increased capacity on the Dhaka and Colombo routes represents a major commitment by Qatar Airways to enhance our offering to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.'
