An official source from Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has described as baseless the news circulating in media outlets of the siege countries that allegedly claimed that Qatar refused to allow Saudi Airlines to transport Qatari pilgrims.
The source said that Qatar Civil Aviation Authority received a request from Saudi Airlines asking to transport Qatari pilgrims, adding that the Authority replied that the airlines should coordinate with and contact Qatar's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and its Qatar Haj mission in accordance with what is established in the past in order for the Authority to take the necessary action.
