(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Aug 20 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, in a statement Sunday, the Israeli forces' fatal shooting of 16-year-old Qutaiba Zahran near the West Bank city of Nablus.
According to the statement, Israeli occupation forces claimed that Zahran tried to stab a soldier at Za'tara checkpoint.
The ministry also urged international community to break out of its silence on these crimes.
Israeli border police shot and killed the Palestinian teenager, alleging he wielded a knife at them at the checkpoint. (end) nq.haq
