Official UAE Hajj Mission to leave on Tuesday for Holy Lands

ABU DHABI, 20th August, 2017 (WAM) -- The UAE's official Hajj Mission will leave the country on Tuesday for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through Abu Dhabi International Airport, according to a statement issued by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the authority, said that the pilgrims will travel to Mecca from August 17th to 28th, and that the preparations of the official mission are ready to receive them with the cooperation and follow-up of campaigners, and to provide all needs and means of comfort and safety for the pilgrims.

According to Al Kaabi the number of pilgrims this year is 6,228.
