Bahrain receives 1.518 new traffic signs


(MENAFN) Bahrain's Works, Municipalites Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry installed 1.518 traffic signs in different governorates of the kingdom amid the first half of the year.

Moreover, this involved 575 warning and regulatory signs, 113 guiding signs, and replacement of 360 damaged signs with new ones, cleaning of 300 signs and changing 170 signs including speed limits.

Accordingly, the ministry received a whole of 32 requests and complaints from municipal councils and also from citizens.

Meanwhile, the ministry in co-op with the Traffic General Directorate issued 1.415 traffic diversion licenses for road works, sewerage works, elect and water works and other services.
