(MENAFN) Officials revealed that about 23 Taliban insurgents were either died or injured in the counter-terrorism action made in thirteen provinces in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan's Ministry of Defense posted the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) has planned for 17 operations, 22 special operations, 1 night raid, as well as 10 airstrikes in the preceding 24 hours.
On the other hand, it also said the Taliban rebels in Taywara district of Ghor province were the most affected by the actions saying that 10 militants passed away and extra 5 were hurt in that place.
