(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug.21 (Petra) -- Temperatures are expected to slightly drop on Monday and Tuesday, but remain around their annual average; therefore normal summer conditions will continue to prevail across the country reaching 33 degrees Celsius in most areas except in Aqaba, where they will jump to 39.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels will cool at night down dropping to 20 in the capital and the northern areas and sliding to 28 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba.
On Wednesday, similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said. WH
