Upper Egypt Mills post 41pct increase in FY16/17 profits


(MENAFN) Upper Egypt Flour Mills recorded a 40.58 percent increase in profits for fiscal year 2016/2017, compared to the prior financial year.

Furthermore, the firm achieved profits of EGP155.34mn in the cited years from EGP110.5mn in FY15/16.

Additionally, revenues increased to EGP3.13bn in FY16/17 from EP2.84bn in FY15/16.

In the nine months ended March 2017, profits jumped 73 percent to EGP171.42mn, compared to EGP99.06mn in the same period of 2016.
