(MENAFN) Korea Customs Service data showed that the country's exports have surged by over 11% during the first 20 days of the current month compared with the same time in 2016.
In addition, overall outbound shipments stood at USD25.1 billion in the cited period, marking a jump by 11.6%.
Exports of computer chips have risen by 42.4% on-year and those of petroleum products and passenger cars surged 41.8% and 21%, respectively in August.
