Saudi- Assistant Commander of Hajj Security Forces: Hajj Security Plans for This Year Completed

Makkah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 28, 1438, Aug 20, 2017, SPA -- Assistant Commander of Hajj Security Forces Maj. Gen. Jamaan Al-Ghamdi said that Hajj security plans for this year have been completed under the full support of the wise leadership which works on serving the pilgrims and providing them with an atmosphere of security and comfort.
During a press conference held here today, Al-Ghamdi said that since the beginning of the Hajj season, 61 unauthorized offices have been closed; 10533 Saudi individuals and 2013541 expatriates have been arrested violating Hajj regulations.
He also pointed out that the number of cars entering and leaving Makkah yesterday reached 3,409,290 cars, while the number of vehicles coming through the Kingdom's ports reached 1333 buses.
"No traffic accidents have been registered so far," Al-Ghamdi said.
