Video: Fire breaks out at construction site in Dubai


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A minor fire has broken out in a construction site in Jumeirah, Dubai Media Office said.

The fire had broke out at around 7pm, and was quickly controlled by firefighters from the Dubai Civil Defence, who ensured the fire did not spread to adjacent buildings.

No one was injured in the fire, Dubai Media Office confirmed.

Major General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director General, UAE Civil Defence, was at the cite to personally oversee the operations.

Jumeirah St. has been partially condoned off and traffic has been diverted to Al Athaar St., while Al Uroba St. has been closed.
